The Dellier Deer Rhodoid Fillm strip is a 3.5 cm high roll of transparent and resistant rhodoid pastry ribbon.
This Rhodoid paper allows perfect banding of your desserts, mousses, charlottes, bavarois,... or to prepare chocolate decorations.
Cut the rhodoid film and insert it into your pie circle or pastry frame to facilitate unmoulding and obtain clean edges and a perfect finish.
How to use Rhodoid film?
To line a mould:
Cut a strip of Rhodoïd film slightly longer than the diameter of the mould or ring to be prepared, then pour in your mixture. Leave to set in the fridge and remove the Rhodoïd film just before serving.
For the chocolate decorations:
Cut out a strip of Rhodoid film and then use an angled pastry spatula to spread a thin layer of chocolate, going back and forth a few times.
If necessary, you can fold the Rhodoid over to form a tube or ribbon. When the chocolate has hardened or crystallised, gently peel off the Rhodoid.
